Following the trend from previous month, the activity Senate was on high levels, despite the absence of in person meetings in the first half of the month.
The first voting, starting on the last Sunday of May, consisted of 6 motions. The Senate passed to keep in place treaties with Mendersia (3 supports and 2 opposes), Rednecks Republic (4 supports and 1 oppose) and Klitzibürg (5 supports and no opposes). The Senate also signed treaties with Federal Republic of Baránok and Duchy of Mapperia, the first with 4 supports and one oppose and the latter, still pending ratification in Mapperia, with 5 supports and no opposes. The Senate also unanimously passed the Open Borders Act, de iure reopening the country after three months, with 5 supports. 18 Senators were absent during the voting, and President and Premier supported all motions.
While no motions were submitted first Sunday, next week saw voting on 4 motions. The Senate decided to establish the Stone Lion Award with 4 supports including the President and two opposes including the Premier. The Senate also designated Antifa as a terrorist organisation with 5 supports including the Premier and the President opposing, and condemned some of practices of the Black Lives Matter movement, especially destroying statues, with 4 supports including the Premier and two opposes including the President. The Senate also decided to leave the Commonwealth of Sovereignties with 4 supports including the Premier and 2 opposes including the President. One citizenship application was also accepted. 17 Senators were absent during the voting.
The last voting of the month consisted of one motion, to sign a treaty of diplomatic relations with the Free Socialist State of Paloma, which was passed with 4 supports including both heads of state and 2 opposes, with 17 Senators absent.
