Three week long votes took place during June 2019 in Gymnasium State. This is an overview of them. To pass a proposal in Senate, 50% of present Senators has to vote in favor of the proposal, including at least one of the President and the Premier. Those also have a double vote.
No voting took place the first week of June. For the second week, two proposal were presented. The first one, implementation of Gymnasium State Mean Time and Gymnasium State Summer Time as oficial timezones of Gymnasium, was passed 9 votes in favor, including the Premier, 5 votes against, including the President, and 4 absent votes. The second motion to proclaim Tiananmen Square Massacre Memorial Day as an important day of the nation was passed 11 in favor, including both heads of state, 3 against and 4 absent votes.
The third week, a motion to accept newly drafted Citizenship Law was passed with 8 votes in favor, including the President, no votes against and 10 absent votes. The law enters the force on 1 September of this year. The last week of June were again two proposals, diplomatic relations with Grand Duchy of Klitzibürg and the Peasant’s Republic, both new Czech micronations. Both motions were passed 12 votes in favor, including the Premier, no votes against and six absent votes.
